Make a Rag Quilt Rustic Star Potholder

For today's project we are making a potholder in the style of a rag quilt.

In addition to you regular sewing supplies you will need:
*2 pieces of 100% cotton fabric measuring 9 ½” x 9 ½” for the front and back
*1 piece of cotton batting measuring 9 ½” x 9 ½”
*1 piece of  Insul-Bright measuring 9 ½” x 9 ½”
*1 piece of 100% cotton fabric measuring 8" x 8" for the star
*1 piece of cotton batting measuring 8" x 8"
