No-Sew Fleece Pet Blanket - Tutorial Tuesday

For today's Tutorial Tuesday we have a fleece blanket project for pets. No sewing is involved and there are no pesky knots to tie. And bonus - the technique also works for people fleece blankets.

For this project you need:

• Two yards of fleece fabric - will make two pet blankets measuring approximately 28" x 36" (that includes the fringe). If you're making this project for a person instead, two yards of fleece for the front and two for the back will get you one blanket measuring approximately 58" x 72". 
• Good quality scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
• Painter's tape

Foster Kitten Friday

This week's episode of Yellowstone the Kitty Edition is called Follow the Leader because they pretty much stuck to each other like glue. 

Work together to ask foster mama to open up the two room tent so we can have our supervised play on the couch? Yep.

But how will we get to the couch? We have a new bridge! You just have to watch this video of them to find out how they make it work.

Whew, made it! So now we can play together on the couch? Yep.

Can we learn to use the cat tree? Yep.

How about pose for pictures? As actors we all need head shots, ya know? You betcha.

Make an Apple Themed Fabric Jar Wrap - Tutorial Tuesday

For today's tutorial we are making another jar wrap. As the first day of fall is quickly approaching, we're talking apples.

For this project you will need:

• 4" x 14" piece of backing fabric
• 4" x 14" piece of front fabric
• 4" x 14" batting
• 3" x 3" squares for the apples - you'll need 3
• Brown and green scraps - mine are 1.5" wide but smaller would work
• Glue stick
• Iron
• Scissors or pinking shears
• Rotary cutter
• Cutting ruler
• Cutting mat
• Sewing machine
• Matching thread
• Template downloaded from here
