Mason Jar Apple - Tutorial Tuesday

Fall is almost upon us and school (is? isn't?) in session so it's time for an apple project. It might make a great gift for a teacher. If your kids are attending school this year, that is.

For this project you will need:

• A canning jar
• Green spray paint
• Red spray paint
• A scrap of construction paper for leaves
• A knob or wooden spool for the stem
• Painter's tape

Sew a Mask Keychain Pouch to Store a Face Mask- Tutorial Tuesday

For today's project I have one more mask-related tutorial. It's a handy dandy keychain pouch for those face masks. Note: this pouch works best when the mask is the non-wire kind.

For this project you will need:

• fabric
• iron on interfacing
• ribbon
• Velcro 
• Ring
• Glue Stick
• Clover Wonder Clips
• Sewing machine
• Matching thread
• Rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat or scissors

Sew a Mesh Laundry Bag - Tutorial Tuesday

If you need a laundry bag to wash those delicates today's Tutorial Tuesday is for you. The finished size is 14" x 17" so it's plenty big for the whole family.

For this project you will need:

•  Piece of cotton fabric
•  Piece of cotton fabric, cut 2
• Piece of mesh fabric, cut 2
• Velcro (3/4" wide)
• double fold bias tape
• Glue stick
• Clover Wonder Clips
• Iron
• Sewing machine
• Matching thread
• Rotary cutter
• Cutting ruler
• Cutting mat

Make a Flower Fabric Jar Wrap - Tutorial Tuesday

For today's Tutorial we are making a flower fabric wrap for a canning jar. These are pretty easy to put together and are a good way to use up some of those fabric scraps.

For this project you will need:

• 4" x 14" backing fabric
• 4" x 14" front fabric
• 4" x 13" batting
• 3" x 3" fabric squares for the flowers - you'll need six squares
• 3" x 3" batting for the flowers - you'll need three
• 3 buttons for the centers
• Pinking shears if you have them
• Canning jar
• Template downloaded from here
