In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a 4th of July gnome table runner. This project uses a raw edge applique, fold over binding, and mitered corners. Use this table runner to decorate your home or outside space for the holiday. This makes a great gift and easy for beginners too!
For this project you will need:
- fabric scraps for gnomes and stars
- fabric for borders
- front fabric
- backing fabric
- cotton batting
- paper backed fusible web like HeatNBond Lite
- fabric clips or pins
- scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
- iron and ironing board
- sewing machine and matching thread
- optional basting spray, stabilizer, walking, or free motion foot
- printable template from the pattern
