How to Make Handmade Americana Heart Coasters - DIY Patriotic Drink Coaster Tutorial

Today we're learning how to make a set of patriotic drink coasters. Grab some cotton batting and a piece of red and white fabric and a piece of blue fabric. Throw in a printable heart template, a sewing machine, and some pinking shears and you've got yourself a cute set of absorbent coasters great for anytime of year!

For this project you will need:

• Cotton fabric
• Cotton batting
• Iron and ironing board
• Scissors and pinking shears
• Fabric clips or pins
• Rotary cutter
• Cutting ruler
• Cutting mat
• Sewing machine
• Matching thread
• Printable template from the pattern
