In today's tutorial, we will learn how to make a Thanksgiving gnome tablerunner. This project uses raw edge applique on the gnomes and pumpkins, an easy fold over binding, and simple mitered corners. Use it to decorate your Thanksgiving table, or even use it as a homemade gift for the friends and family we are thankful for!
For this project you will need:
- fabric scraps for pumpkins, gnomes, and stems
- fabric for inside borders
- fabric for outside borders
- front fabric
- backing fabric
- cotton batting
- paper backed fusible web like HeatNBond Lite
- fabric clips or pins
- scissors or rotary cutter, cutting ruler, and cutting mat
- iron and ironing board
- sewing machine and matching thread
- optional basting spray, stabilizer, walking or free motion foot
- printable template from the pattern
