For today's Tutorial Tuesday sewing and crafting project we are going to be brightening up our kitchen's decor with this cute sunflower potholder. It's a great project for spring or summer or really anytime of year!

For this project you will need:
- 8 ½” x 8 ½” cotton fabric for front
- 10 ½” x 10 ½” cotton backing fabric
- 8 ½” x 8 ½” cotton fabric for flower
- 3” x 3” cotton fabric for flower center
- 8 ½” x 8 ½” cotton batting, cut 2 OR 1 layer cotton batting and 1 layer Insul-Bright
- 8 ½” x 8 ½” Sewable HeatnBond Lite
- Iron
- Scissors
- Sewing machine and matching thread
- Free template from here
- Always helpful for sewing: rotary cutter, cutting ruler, cutting mat
